Day 13

Day 13

This is what happens when Dad is not around for supper!
Notice Kole had an appetizer before dinner even started.
She must of been hunrgy after her busy day!
She managed to unfold the laundry,
decorate the front room with "personal items",
clean off the front of the fridge, unfold some more laundry,
rearrange the kitchen cupboards,
ran the dishwasher twice... for the same dishes...
just to make sure they were clean,
found all of the wash clothes and displayed them proudly for Mom to see,
moved her library into the family room
oh and can't forget... unfolded some more laundry.
This equals a hungry little girl in need of watermelon flavored chapstick!

Day 12

Day 12

This is one of Jace's projects from school.
When telling me about it he informed me of the following:

His name is Rico, he is a penguin
disguised as a snowman and he has special powers.
Rico has lazer eyes that can lazer through bars (that is why they are red).
Rico can bomb stuff with the silver pebbles (on his fins).
He can roll into a ball like a snowman.
He has a sword (very small on the right side)
that has a string attached to it so when he
throws it he can either pull on it to get it back
or he can hold on tight and it will pull the penguin up!
Oh, (he almost forgot) when he throws his hat
it will cut stuff because it is lazer sharp!

I am trying to decide if I need to talk with his teacher
to find out exactly what kind of "mission" (assignment)
they were trying to accomplish...

Day 11

Day 11

Poor Annie...
We were having FHE and poor Annie was just wilting away!
Sent her to get her pj's on. A few minutes later
she announced that she threw up and she was going to bed.
Went in a few minutes later (to give her the blue puke bucket)
and she had already fallen asleep and was snoring
with the lights still on! She woke up briefly
while I was taking this picture and instantly started to say her prayers.

Day 6

Jason and I were actually spontanous
and went to the movie Avatar...in the middle of the week!
We were shocked when we found a Mom
who would let her daughter babysit until 1 in the morning.
Yeah...it's a long movie.
On the plus side everyone but Cassie was asleep when we left.
On the down side...I don't think we will ever do that again!
We were so tired the next day!

This is not one of your fantasy teams.

This blog is the direct result of my 2010's New Years Resolution. I am doing this for the benefit of my family (SO YOU BETTER LOOK AT IT, DANG IT!!!). Just Kidding! When I say family ... I really mean my children (if any others happen to take a look... great!). I have attempted to scrapbook... it is just not me. I really want to go digital... still trying to figure that out... so this is the interim solution... at least for now.

When I told Jason what my New Years Resolution was and I asked him for some idea's for a name... these were his suggestions, "Boom goes the Dynamite" and "I'm a Rain Drop." I'm sure he would of come up with something fabulous if I hadn't of jumped in and reminded him that this was not one of his fantasy teams. I have come to realize that one of the biggest challenges in participating in fantasy... (insert sport) ... is to come up with a name for your team. Thus what may seem very boring is actually a very appropriate name, Resolution 365
.
Here goes...
