Day 43
Valentine Day ediquette lunch for the Grade 2's. The boys had to escort a girl to the table
and help them get seated. Jace escorted Mattie Hill.
Jace told me later that one of his friends was upset
because he got to escort Mattie (it was by random draw).
Also pictured is his Grade 2 teacher Mrs. Sue Fowler.

Jace lost a tooth today.
He was playing basetball and the ball bump his mouth and out came the tooth.
He has lost 2 teeth while swimming (they just fell out)
and another he almost swallowed because it too "just fell out."
He is his mothers child...we need NO help wiggling those teeth!
Cause it might hurt...or something.

Annie is holding her "long neck" she made all by herself!

One of Cassie's projects from school.
She had to make a "chair" strong enough
for her teacher to sit on. It weighed about 25 lbs!

I told the kids at the begining of the year
that the week of Valentines we "kiss the mirror."

Superbowl Sunday!!!
It has come down to Cassie and Dad!
If you look closely you'll see them each holding there "team magnet".
A few years ago Jason went through
and printed out team logos for all the NFL teams
and made them into magnets.
Each week everyone makes their "picks".
When the playoffs come around we each pick 2 teams to go all the way.
Dad won... again....

After swimming lessons
we stopped at the store to pick up a few things...
Thus began the ninja and Darth maul war!
Up and down the isle they went...
Sound effects and all...
finally confiscated the scraper after a near miss with another shopper!

These shoes have been missing for at least a month!
Got lucky and discovered them when we cleaned out the car.
They were tucked away with the car emergency kit. Go figure!

While we were at church it snowed.
Jason had to go back for a meeting and
asked Cassie and Jace to shovel the driveway.
I was surprised to find them outside within a few minutes,
with out complaining, shoveling the driveway!
It was fun to see the different strategies of clearing the snow.
They both shoveled down the middle of the driveway and each took a side.
Cassie shoveled (see picture) the same direction until it was done.
Jace went up, down, over and under!
They did a great job working together! Great job kids!!!

It was a nice Saturday afternoon.
We all headed outside!
Was surprised to see how well Annie coordinates with her bike.
Cassie loves to jump rope and is a great helper with Kole.
Jace still loves the "little" basketball hoop
and draws the attention of his 2 little sisters.
Then there is Kole... Probably the best DI find was that little red car for $3!
I love that Kole was so sad to have to come inside,
but it had been quite awhile and her hands where icicle's!

Today was Mom's birthday date night.
It was a fun evening! However,
this became the priority purchase before we could come home!

Today was a PD day at school (which means no school).
Jace spent most of the day at a friends house
while the girls and their counsin Kali played.
I personally love the snowman and snowlady!

Cassie came home from a friends house all decked out!
She does look pretty!

We were on out way to pick up the Van
from some minor repairs!
